Jeremy Standiford is a results-driven scientist with over 12 years of diverse experience spanning radiochemistry, regulatory compliance, and analytical method development. As an Associate Research Scientist at the Carlsbad Environmental Monitoring and Research Center (CEMRC), Jeremy specializes in radiochemical analyses of environmental samples to monitor potential radiation releases from the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP). His expertise includes advanced techniques such as alpha spectroscopy, liquid scintillation counting, and gamma counting, ensuring precise data for regulatory compliance and environmental safety.

Jeremy is dedicated to refining radiochemical methods, maintaining laboratory instrumentation, and training team members to uphold the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. His contributions to CEMRC include authoring comprehensive procedures to standardize workflows and managing laboratory procurement to optimize operations.

With a strong foundation in chemistry and a proven track record in technical innovation, Jeremy brings a unique blend of scientific rigor and practical problem-solving to his role. He holds a B.A. in Chemistry and Pre-Law from New Mexico State University and has contributed to advancements in biofuel technology, regulatory reporting, and e-commerce growth throughout his career.
